I attended a very inspiring talk by Karen Schmidt of Let's Grow!

Karen is a motivational speaker who made the observation that a negative person in the office is like that one bad raspberry in the punnet.

They infect the others around them, slowly but surely, until all the raspberries in the punnet have gone off.

Isn’t this so true? And isn’t the reverse the case as well; that a happy, motivated person will also enthuse and motivate others?

The trick is preventing negativity - even getting a foot hold, through proactive programs that foster and sustain a positive work environment and allow employees to work to their strengths.

So don’t let your staff give you the rotten raspberry! Team building, leadership development, executive coaching programs and the like allow you to get the best out of your people.
