Energiser
State Library of Victoria Keeps TMS on the Agenda

Every now and again we run sessions for our valued clients to help them revisit their Team Management Profiles and discover new ways to apply it to their everyday work.
Training Tip: TMS Speed Dating Activity

Are you looking for an energising activity to encourage learners to share their Team Management Profiles (TMPs) in a fun way?
If yes, TMS Speed Dating is the answer. If Speed Dating is not a term you think your learners will be comfortable with, you can always change it to something else like Speed Networking or Speedy Meetings. But remember the purpose is the same whatever the name - to fast-track information sharing within teams.
Training Tip: Energiser 5 - What about your whole body?

In the TMS training team, we love brainstorming new ideas for games and activities to make workshops more engaging and memorable. The energiser below sprung from an inspiring conversation with my colleagues. The topic of conversation was Monty Python’s well known sketch, The Ministry of Silly Walks.

Training Tip: Energiser 4 - What about your legs?

Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) have found that running boosts the growth of new nerve cells improving learning and memory. Today, we’re going to look at how we can get our participants to use their legs in a similar fashion.
For some easy step by step instructions on how to run this quick energiser, read on!
Energiser 2 - What about your arms?

Today’s energiser will focus on your arms. The purpose of this game is to reflect on how people work as a team. They can also reflect on how their work preferences influence their behaviour and the outcomes of the task.
Training Tip: 5 new energisers for the body!

At TMS we have noticed that people really enjoy our games and energisers. To keep things fresh and exciting this week, I’ll show you five fun energisers we use to get the blood flowing from the tips of your toes to the tips of your fingers.
Energiser 5- What do you feel?

To finish off our series of new TMS energisers, let’s look at your sense of touch. This interactive activity is great in programs to remind participants that people approach the world in different ways. This is an important lesson to drive home because if people appreciate and understand how to maximize diversity they are one step closer to becoming a high-performing team.
Energiser 4- What do you taste?

In workshops, water helps participants stay hydrated and focused. This is important when participants are learning about important things like themselves and how to communicate with others. So if you have some water nearby why not try this energiser?
Energiser 3- What do you smell?

Today’s energiser is a tantaliser of your sense of smell. Like the others it’s quick to facilitate and reminds participants that we all approach the world in different ways. Here are 3 easy steps to run this:
