The gold standard for team development
The Team Management Profile (TMP) is a powerful psychometric tool that delivers insights into preferences and behaviour in the workplace. Whether teams are looking to improve the processes or the quality of the interactions, the TMP examines both in detail by aligning a model for high-performing teams with a model for work preferences.
To ensure the highest standards of ethical care, the TMP must only be delivered and debriefed by appropriately trained professionals who have completed accreditation through TMS.
Becoming an accredited practitioner gives you the skills, resources and confidence to use this profile with individuals, teams and organisations.
Accreditation is ideal for
- Organisational development and HR professionals
- Leadership coaches and executive facilitators
- Internal L&D or capability teams
- Management consultants
Learning Objectives
TMP accreditation equips you with the necessary training to facilitate a TMP debrief and provides you with the resources required to build a programme using the TMP. The TMP accreditation also imparts an understanding of the underlying TMS framework and learning methodology that underpin the TMS Suite of Profiles.
Accredited practitioners learn how to:
- Understand the theory and concepts underpinning the TMP.
- Have the confidence to apply this knowledge in practice.
- Support individuals and teams using the TMP framework to work more effectively and achieve high performance within an organisation.
- Learn how to use Team Signals, a 360 multi-rater diagnostic tool for teams, allowing immediate grasp of team strengths and areas for improvements.
Accreditation structure
The accreditation process is designed to be practical, focused and immediately usable:
1. Pre-work: Complete the TMP Questionnaire and receive a personal coaching session by one of our TMP Master Trainers to debrief your profile.
Complete the online module to learn the basic concepts that underpin the Profile.
2. Workshop: Attend two interactive half-day workshops to deepen your knowledge, practice application and build confidence in running your own sessions using the TMP.
Complete a practice debrief of a TMP with a friend or colleague.
3. Post-training access: Get full access to the TMS Global Portal, including facilitator tools, profile resources and optional follow-up coaching.
Receive micro-learning emails for six months after the workshops.
4. Booster: Four to six months after the initial accreditation workshops you will be invited to attend an interactive virtual 2-hour booster session to deepen your knowledge and add to the practical experience you’ve accumulated. Delivered by a TMS Master Trainer.
